China Merchants Jinling delivers third tanker in series to Utkilen

China Merchants Jinling Shipyard Dingheng has delivered a new chemical tanker to Norwegian owner Utkilen Group.

The 10,500DWT Saltstraum is powered by a dual fuel, LNG-ready engine and may be fitted with a battery pack installation in future.

Saltstraum is the third in a series of four tankers ordered by Utkilen. Sister vessels Mostraum and Vikstraum were delivered in June 2019 and October 2019, respectively.
