Central Shipping Monaco orders another MR tanker

Central Shipping Monaco has ordered a third 50,000DWT MR products tanker from Hyundai-Vinashin shipyard, after exercising a second option.

The Evangelos Pistiolis-led Central Shipping Monaco placed an order with the subsidiary of Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) for a tanker in November 2016, with delivery in January 2018.

An option for another US$32 million vessel was exercised in February, for an April 2018 delivery, together with a second option.

The third vessel will be delivered in August 2018, HMD officials said.
