Bahri places VLCC order with IMI

Saudi Arabia shipowner Bahri has placed an order for a very large crude carrier (VLCC) with International Maritime Industries (IMI), a joint venture between Saudi Aramco, Bahri, Lamprell, and Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).

The 319,000DWT vessel is expected to be delivered in October 2021.

Construction will take place at HHI’s shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea.
