Astrakhan Shipyard launches new product tanker for Mashpromlizing
Russia’s Astrakhan Shipyard has launched a new Project 00216M product tanker for shipowner Mashpromlizing.
Once completed, the tanker will have an LOA of 141 metres, a beam of 16.7 metres, a maximum draught of 4.6 metres, a summer deadweight of 7,900 tonnes, and a speed of 10 knots. Up to three different types of oil products and other liquid cargo may be transported by the vessel at any given time.
The tanker will be leased to local operator Volgotrans following delivery to Mashpromlizing in November of this year.
