Algoma Tankers buys 2010-built vessel

Algoma Central Corporation operating unit Algoma Tankers (ATL) has purchased a 2010-built product tanker.

The 16,512DWT vessel will be re-named Algoterra upon transition to ATL ownership.

The ship will be the eighth to join ATL’s product tanker fleet. Delivery is scheduled for mid-March and operational sailing under the new owners is expected in April.
