Aegean Shipping orders third Aframax tanker from Chinese builder
Aegean Shipping Management of Greece has exercised the option for the acquisition of a third vessel in continuation of the agreement with COSCO Heavy Industry Yangzhou for the construction of two plus one Aframax tankers.
At the same time, a letter of intent (LOI) was awarded to COSCO for an additional fourth vessel in the same series.
The four vessels will be delivered sequentially between June 2022 and March 2023.
