SHI bags order for 10 LNG-fueled crude carriers
Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has won a ₩751.3 billion (US$620 million) order from an unnamed Oceanian shipowner for 10 crude oil carriers in a series.
The vessels will each have LNG propulsion and a deadweight of 113,000 tonnes.
Delivery of all ten crude carriers is expected to be completed by January 2022.
