DSME to build three additional 300,000t VLCCs for OSC

Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) has won an order for three very large crude carriers (VLCCs) in a series from Oman Shipping Company (OSC).

Each vessel will have a length of 336 metres, a beam of 60 metres, and a displacement of 300,000 tonnes.

This is OSC’s fourth through sixth VLCC orders from DSME following a firm order for three similar vessels, including one option, placed in January.
