Zvezda cuts steel for fourth Aframax tanker for Rosnefteflot

Russia’s Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex has cut the first steel for an Aframax tanker ordered from the company by local operator Rosnefteflot.

The vessel is the fourth of a planned 10 ships in a series ordered by Rosnefteflot and will be one of the first Aframax oil tankers to be built in Russia.

The tanker will measure 250 by 44 metres and will have a deadweight of 114,000 tonnes once completed.
