JMU delivers MR chemical tanker to local operator
On Friday, March 29, Japan Marine United (JMU) delivered a newbuild medium range (MR) product/chemical tanker to an unnamed local operator, the company said in a statement.
Named Beagle, the ship has an LOA of 182.5 metres, a width of 32.2 metres, a depth of 19.05 metres, and a deadweight of 49,850 tonnes.
A MAN B&W 6S50ME-B9.5 diesel engine gives the ship a cruising speed of 15.3 knots.
