Sembcorp Marine wins LNG bunker vessel contract

Singapore’s Sembcorp Marine has secured a contract for the design and construction of an LNG bunker vessel for Indah Singa Maritime, a subsidiary of Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL).

The vessel will have a length of 112 metres, a width of 22 metres, and a total cargo tank capacity of 12,000 cubic metres.

It will be the largest vessel of its kind, in terms of size and LNG tank capacity, to be built in Singapore.

Delivery is scheduled for 2021.
