Torm takes delivery of newbuild LR2 tanker

Danish shipping company Torm took delivery of a newbuild 114,000DWT LR2 product/crude oil tanker from Guangzhou Shipyard International on October 15.

Torm Hilde is one of the first tankers to be equipped with a current-limiting scrubber unit as well as Torm’s first tanker fitted with an exhaust gas clean system (EGCS) to help reduce sulphur emissions.

The vessel has a length of 250 metres, a width of 44 metres, and a depth of 21.5 metres.
