Maersk Tankers receives third product tanker from Samsung Heavy Industries
On July 27, Maersk Tankers took delivery of a new product tanker from Samsung Heavy Industries in Ningbo, China.
The 50,000DWT Maersk Callao is the third in a series of nine tankers ordered in a US$300 million contract in 2015 to be delivered this year.
Maersk Cancun was delivered in January and Maersk Capri was delivered in May, with four more tankers scheduled to be delivered by the end of the year.
Another two are scheduled for completion in 2019.
