Tsuneishi Shipbuilding and Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding have joined forces to build design and development capacity for commercial ships.

As part of the co-operation agreement, the Japanese companies will share research and development, collaborate in design and manufacturing, and co-operate in procurement activities for efficiencies in distribution channels and suppliers.

They will also utilise each other’s manufacturing facilities to enhance cost competitiveness, engage in staff exchanges, and provide mutual support with seasonal fluctuations in workload and sudden unexpected events.
