Rosmorport wraps up phase one of construction at Vanino coal export terminal

Rosmorport has successfully completed the first phase of construction of a new coal transshipment facility at the far eastern Russian seaport of Vanino.

Rosmorport claims the completion of the first phase will already allow up to 12 million tonnes of coal to be exported through the new facility every year.

Upon completion of the second phase of construction, the terminal will be one of the largest coal transshipment facilities in Russia with an annual export capacity expected to reach 24 million tonnes.
