A new cruise terminal has been inaugurated in the Port of Aqaba in Jordan.

The Aqaba Cruise Terminal is a joint project between Aqaba Development Corporation and UAE-based the AD Ports Group.

Under the agreement with Aqaba Development Corporation, the AD Ports Group will develop, manage, and operate the Aqaba Cruise Terminal, which consists of a 700-metre quay wall, a passenger and luggage hall, indoor retail spaces, prayer rooms, and offices. The facility was also designed to function as a one-stop-shop for multiple government stakeholders serving the cruise business.
