Eni to build logistics base at Abu Dhabi’s Mugharraq Port

Port operator the AD Ports Group and Eni Abu Dhabi have entered into an agreement to establish a marine logistics base at Mugharraq Port.

The new facility will support Eni’s offshore drilling operations in the heart of Al Dhafra region. In addition to being provided a dedicated quay wall, marshalling yard, as well as manpower and logistical equipment, the company will also have access to liquid mud and bulk plant facilities on-site.

Located 240 kilometres from Abu Dhabi city, Mugharraq Port is located on the mainland facing Sir Bani Yas Island. The port currently offers general cargo handling facilities and supports ferry and logistics connections to Delma Island and Sir Bani Yas Island.
