Toll unveils Australia’s largest cargo ship

Toll Group unveiled the largest general cargo vessel to fly the Australian flag in a ceremony on Sunday, February 17.

The Ro-Ro cargo vessel, named Tasmanian Achiever II, is set to enter service on March 1, carrying goods between the Port of Melbourne and the Port of Burnie in Tasmania.

The 210-metre vessel will replace the 20-year-old Tasmanian Achiever.

Tasmanian Achiever II’s identical sister ship, Victorian Reliance II, will be named at a ceremony scheduled within the month at Toll’s wharf in the Port of Melbourne.
