Roll Group signs contract for own yard

Roll Group and Bintan Offshore Marine Center (BOMC) have entered into an agreement wherein Roll Group will have its own dedicated facilities within BOMC’s yard in Indonesia’s Riau Islands.

Under the contract, Roll Group, as an exclusive partner in the BOMC yard, will also help in the further development of the overall facility through the installation of cranes and trailers. The yard will also have a jetty access, which will enable the transport of cargo modules using Roll Group’s fleet of Ro-Ro vessels.

When the development of the BOMC facility is fully completed, the yard will cover no less than 100 hectares. In addition to the jetty, it will also have open storages, covered warehouses, workshops, module fabrication yards, a decommissioning yard, and client-specific plants.
