Another two of the DFDS ro-ro freighters are being constructed at FSG shipyard.

The Norwegian parent company of Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG) shipyard has placed an order for two more Ro-Ro freighters.

Siem Group, which took over FSG in 2014, ordered two of the vessels in May 2016 and chartered them on long-term bareboat charters to DFDS.

The 209.6-metre-long vessels provide a capacity of 4,076 lane metres for up to 262 trailers of 14 metres length.

The project will keep the yard occupied until mid-2019.
