Finnlines’ third hybrid Ro-Ro launched in China

China Merchants Jinling Shipyard launched a new freight-only Ro-Ro vessel into the water at its Jiangsu facilities on Monday, November 22.

Finneco III is the third hybrid Ro-Ro in a series being built for Finnlines. Upon completion, the vessel will have a length of 238 metres and capacity for 5,800 lane metres of freight, an increase of 40 per cent compared to the next largest ships in the Finnlines fleet.

As with its two earlier sisters, Finneco III will be deployed on Finnlines’ routes in the Baltic and North Seas as well as in the Bay of Biscay.
