DFDS newbuild to operate out of Port of Gothenburg

DFDS has brought a new vessel into service to help strengthen the Port of Gothenburg’s capacity in the overall intra-European Ro-Ro sector.

The newly built freight-only Ro-Ro Hollandia Seaways is expected to increase capacity to and from the port by over 600 trailers per week.

Recently delivered from Jinling Shipyard in China, the newbuild is 237.4 metres long and 33 metres wide and can carry up to 450 trailers, a nearly 50 per cent capacity increase compared to predecessor vessel Petunia Seaways.
