CMA CGM Ro-Ro to deliver humanitarian aid to Lebanon

CMA CGM Group is spearheading an international relief initiative whose objective is to send medical equipment and essential goods as humanitarian aid for the victims of the deadly explosion in Lebanon’s Port of Beirut earlier this month.

One of the company’s Ro-Ro vessels will be deviated from its usual service to travel from Marseille to Beirut over the coming days. The aid to be delivered to Beirut will be provided by CMA CGM’s French partners, which include the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

CMA CGM is setting up operational units in both Marseille and Beirut to review requests and organise delivery of aid as quickly as possible.
