Ocean Yield adds two ultramax bulkers to fleet
Ocean Yield took delivery of the two modern ultramax dry bulk vessels SBI Cronos (pictured) and SBI Achilles on Thursday, March 19.
Upon delivery, the two 61,000DWT vessels commenced nine and 10 years’ bareboat charters to Scorpio Bulkers.
The two vessels are the subject of a sale and leaseback agreement entered into by Ocean Yield and Scorpio Bulkers in February 2020. A third bulk carrier, the 82,000DWT SBI Lynx, will commence a 12-year bareboat charter under the same agreement.
