Newbuild cargo ship to join Lehmann fleet

German shipowner Reederei Lehmann will formally welcome its newest cargo vessel to its fleet later this week.

Heike Lehmann was built by Netherlands-based Royal Bodewes. It is currently sailing on its delivery voyage to Delfzijl, where it will be christened and handed over to its new owners.

The newbuild has a length of 90 metres, a beam of 15 metres, and a draught of three metres. It will sail under the flag of Antigua and Barbuda.
