New coal carrier delivered to K Line

Japan Marine United (JMU) has delivered a new bulk carrier to Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line).

The NK-classed Cape Brolga has a length of 299.99 metres, a beam of 50 metres, a draught of 18.4 metres, and a deadweight of 211,982 tonnes. One MAN B&W 7S65ME-C8.5-HSPSCR diesel engine delivers a speed of 14.3 knots.

The ship’s cargo holds are made of stainless steel and are optimised for the transport of coal.
