Nevsky Shipyard launches Pola Rise dry cargo ship

On July 5, Nevsky Shipyard launched the single-deck dry cargo vessel Pola Anatolia.

The ship is the first in a series of five dry cargo carriers ordered under a trilateral contract with the State Transport Leasing Company as a customer and shipping company Pola Rise as a leaseholder.

The ship was designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau with a steel single-deck, two fully-rotated rudder propellers, two cargo holds, with a forecastle and poop, and aft arrangement of habitable deck-house and engine-room.

The 252TEU, 11,200m3 ship has an overall length of 141 metres, breadth of 16.98 metres, depth of 6.0 metres, 4.5-metre draught and deadweight of 7,445 tonnes.
