NACKS delivers bulk carrier to Misuga

Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS) delivered a new bulk carrier to Japanese shipowner Misuga on Monday, September 28.

Named Energy Cosmos, the LR-classed newbuild has an LOA of 228.9 metres, a moulded beam of 32.24 metres, a moulded draught of 14.5 metres, a deadweight of 81,982 tonnes, a total hold capacity of 97,762 cubic metres, and accommodations for 25 crew. One MAN B&W 6S60ME-C8.5 9,670kW diesel engine gives the vessel a speed of 14 knots.

Energy Cosmos will sail under the Panamanian flag.
