NACKS delivers bulk carrier to Japanese owner

Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS) delivered a new bulk carrier to Japanese owner Misuga Kaiun on Thursday, August 20.

The LR-classed, Panamanian-flagged Brilliant Knight has an LOA of 228.9 metres, a moulded beam of 32.24 metres, a draught of 14.5 metres, a deadweight of 82,000 tonnes, and space for 25 crew.

One MAN B&W 6S60ME-C8.5 9,670kW main engine gives the newbuild a speed of approximately 14.2 knots.
