Mibau-Stema christens newest self-unloading bulker

German aggregates transport company Mibau-Stema christened the newest addition to its bulk carrier fleet in a ceremony at the Port of Kiel on Monday, September 6.

Fjordnes was built by China’s Chengxi Shipyard as a mineral carrier for Mibau-Stema. It has a length of 190 metres, a deadweight of 40,700 tonnes, and self-unloading capability.

The newbuild will sail under the flag of Antigua and Barbuda.
