Krasnoye Sormovo launches cargo ship Pola Aleksiya
Russia’s Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard has launched a new Project RSD59 dry cargo ship ordered by local operator State Transport Leasing Company.
The 140- by 16-metre Pola Aleksiya is the ninth vessel in a series of 11 ordered by the same customer in early 2019. It will have a total cargo capacity of 11,292 cubic metres and an endurance of 12 days.
As with other Project RSD59 ships, Pola Aleksiya is designed to be able to transport both general and bulk cargo along inland and coastal routes.
