Krasnoye Sormovo delivers two Project RSD59 cargo ships to local operator
United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard has delivered two dry cargo vessels in a series to local operator State Transport Leasing Company.
Pola Yaroslava (pictured) and Pola Anastasiya are the fifth and sixth units of a planned 11 Project RSD59 vessels to be built for the same owner. Each has a length of 140.88 metres, a beam of 17 metres, a draught of 4.53 metres, and river and sea deadweights of 5,128 and 7,535 tonnes, respectively.
The newbuilds are designed for both coastal and inland waterway operations.
