Keel laid for P&O Maritime Logistics’ newest cargo vessel

Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding in China has laid the keel for a new mixed cargo vessel ordered by UAE-based P&O Maritime Logistics.

Once completed, the 5,400DWT Fly Enterprise will be capable of transporting both bulk and containerised cargo.

P&O will initially operate the vessel to support the copper concentrate mining and transport activities of Ok Tedi Mining of Papua New Guinea.
