JMU delivers Capesize coal/ore carrier Niseko Queen

Japan Marine United (JMU) handed over a new Capesize bulk carrier to an unnamed shipowner on Tuesday, September 29.

The Panamanian-flagged Niseko Queen will be used primarily for transporting iron ore and coal across the Pacific.

The vessel has an LOA of 299.99 metres, a beam of 50 metres, a draught of 18.4 metres, and one MAN-B&W 7S65ME-C8.5 diesel engine that delivers a speed of 14.5 knots.
