Huangpu Wenchong delivers bulk carrier CSSC Cape Town

China’s Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding recently delivered a new bulk carrier to an unnamed shipowner.

Named CSSC Cape Town, the newbuild has an LOA of 255 metres, a beam of 43 metres, a design draught of 14.6 metres, a speed of 14 knots, a deadweight of 120,000 tonnes, and a cargo capacity of 135,000 cubic metres.

The DNV GL-classed vessel will sail under the Hong Kong flag.
