Spliethoff acquires five ex-Hansa Heavy Lift ships

Spliethoff Group has acquired five ships formerly operated by Hansa Heavy Lift (HHL).

The 20,100DWT vessel HHL Kobe and the 19,450DWT ships HHL Lagos, HHL Fremantle, HHL Richards Bay, and HHL Tokyo have been renamed Pietersgracht, Pijlgracht, Poolgracht, Pauwgracht, and Paleisgracht, respectively.

These are the sixth through tenth vessels that Spliethoff has acquired this year from HHL, which filed for insolvency last December.
