GoodBulk plans to acquire six Capesize vessels for $134.2m

Monaco-based GoodBulk has taken delivery of Aquamarie, a 2012 Capesize vessel of 178,896DWT built by Sungdong.

The dry bulk vessel is the second of seven Capesize vessels acquired from funds managed by CarVal investors.

Aquamarie is expected to be employed in the spot market via the Capesize revenue sharing agreement managed by C Transport Maritime.

An additional five vessels will be delivered before the first quarter of 2018 under an options contract valued at US$134.2 million.

GoodBulk is an owner and operator of dry bulk vessels formed in December 2016 to own quality second-hand dry bulk vessels between 50,000DWT and 210,000DWT.
