Germany’s dship Carriers takes delivery of 12,000DWT newbuild
German owner dship Carriers has taken delivery of the final ship in a series of four dry cargo vessels built by Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering in China’s Jiangsu province.
The 12,385DWT Charlie is a near identical sister of three earlier vessels that were delivered to Dships beginning in 2018. Each of these four ships is fitted with two Liebherr cranes that can each lift up to 250 tonnes.
All four ships in the series are classed by DNV.
