Eagle Bulk acquires 2017-built Ultramax vessel

Eagle Bulk Shipping has completed the purchase of a high-specification, scrubber-fitted Ultramax bulk carrier from an unnamed owner.

The ship was constructed at Chengxi Shipyard in China in 2017 and is expected to be delivered during the second quarter of 2021.

The bulk carrier will be renamed Rotterdam Eagle upon acceptance by Eagle Bulk.
