Diana Shipping secures three time charters

Diana Shipping, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into a time charter contract with Geneva-based Cargill International for the Capesize dry bulk vessel Santa Barbara (pictured).

The charter commenced on Saturday, January 9, and is firm until January 5, 2022. Cargill has options to extend the charter up to March 5, 2022.

Through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, Diana has also entered into a time charter contract with C Transport Maritime of Bermuda, for the Capesize dry bulk vessel Salt Lake City. The charter also commenced on Saturday and is firm until April 5, 2022, with options to extend up to June 30, 2022.

Lastly, a time charter contract has been signed with Singapore-based SwissMarine for the Post-Panamax vessel Electra. The charter commenced on January 4 and is firm until March 30 of this year.
