Phaidra begins time charter contract for Uniper
Post-Panamax dry bulk vessel Phaidra has started a time charter contract with Uniper Global Commodities.
The 229-metre vessel has a cargo capacity of 99,636 cubic metres and an operating speed of 14 knots.
The gross charter rate for the 2013-built Phaidra is US$12,700 per day, minus a five per cent commission paid to third parties, for a minimum period of 12 months up to maximum of 15 months.
The charter for the 87,146DWT vessel began on January 13.
The contract is anticipated to generate US$4.57 million for the minimum scheduled period.
