Nordic American Tankers sells another three bulk carriers

Nordic American Tankers (NAT) has sold three more Suezmax tankers built in 1997, bringing the total number of vessels sold over the past two months to eight.

These sales will bring NAT a cashflow close to US$80 million.

NAT is in possession of 25 vessels, following the eight sales, and will add a newbuild Suezmax to its fleet in August from Samsung in South Korea.

The sales of these eight vessels has brought down the average age of NAT’s ships to about 10 years.
