Koch Shipping locks in Newcastlemax time charter

Singapore-based Koch Shipping has hired a Newcastlemax dry-bulk vessel from Greek dry-bulk owner Diana Shipping.

Under the time-charter agreement, the 208,006DWT bulker San Francisco will be chartered at a gross charter rate of US$24,000 per day for 10 to 12 months from May 13.

The charter is expected to generate US$6.96 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the charter.

The 2017-built San Francisco is currently chartered to Koch Shipping at a rate of US$11,750 per day.
