Berge Bulk takes delivery of two newbuilds

Berge Kenya

Singapore shipowner Berge Bulk recently took delivery of a 207,600DWT bulk carrier (pictured) from China’s Bohai Shipyard.

The vessel has been named Berge Kenya after the second highest mountain in Africa.

During the same week, the company welcomed Berge Dachstein, a 208,718DWT vessel, to its fleet. The vessel was completed at Imabari Shipbuilding in Japan and is a slightly larger sister of Berge Sarstein.

Berge Dachstein is named after the Hoher Dachstein, the highest mountain peak of the Dachstein massif in Austria.

Both newbuilds will sail under the flag of the Isle of Man.
