K Line takes delivery of 91,000DWT coal carrier

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) took delivery of a coal carrier from Oshima Shipbuilding on Thursday, July 11.

Named Corona Dynamic, the 91,000DWT vessel has a length of 234.99 metres, a beam of 43 metres, a draught of eight metres, and a maximum speed of 13 knots.

The newbuild will be used to transport thermal coal to the Hokuriku Electric Power Company’s power plant in Toyama Prefecture under a long-term charter.
