Seaspan Ferries to take delivery of hybrid Ro-Ro pair in 2021

Seaspan Ferries of Canada is set to add two LNG-battery hybrid Ro-Ro vessels to its fleet by 2021.

The vessels will be constructed by Damen Shipyards Gorinchem at its Mangalia shipyard in Romania.

These will be the third and fourth hybrid vessels to join the Seaspan Ferries fleet after Seaspan Swift and Seaspan Reliant.

The BV-classed Ro-Ros will each have a length of 149 metres and a freight capacity of 1,034 lane metres.
