BigLift and Chung Yang to cooperate in heavy transport

Netherlands’ BigLift and South Korea’s Chang Yung have entered into an agreement to cooperate in heavy transport shipping for the oil and gas (O&G) and renewables markets.

Under the agreement, BigLift will operate four heavy transport vessels (HTVs) to be provided by the two companies.

The projects will utilise two pairs of sisterships: BigLift Barentsz, BigLift Baffin, CY Interocean I, and CY Interocean II (pictured).

Both BigLift and Chang Yung will provide technical and operational support in the early stages of the projects.
