Diana Shipping charters Panamax dry bulker

Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Singapore’s ST Shipping and Transport for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels.

The gross charter rate is US$11,750 per day, minus a five per cent commission paid to third parties, for a period of seven to nine months. The charter commenced on July 4.

Maera is a 75,403DWT Panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2013.

The contract is anticipated to generate approximately US$2.29 million of gross revenue for Diana Shipping.
