Yang Ming adds 12,690TEU newbuild to fleet

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation has taken delivery of one new container vessel.

YM Tiptop will be deployed on Yang Ming’s SA3 service that connects Asia with the east coast of South America.

The vessel is the fifth in a series of 14 ordered by Yang Ming. It has a length of 333.2 metres, a beam of 48.2 metres, a draught of 16 metres, a cruising speed of 23 knots, and capacity for 12,690 TEUs in addition to having 1,000 plugs for reefer containers.
