World’s largest LNG-powered containership joins CMA CGM fleet

NAVAL ARCHITECTURE WEEK

The newbuild containership CMA CGM Jacques Saade has joined the CMA CGM fleet.

With a length of 339.9 metres and capacity for 23,000 TEUs, the Bureau Veritas-classed vessel named after CMA CGM founder Jacques Saade is the largest LNG-powered containership ever built.

The vessel was completed at the Shanghai facilities of state-owned China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC).
